Get smart logo updatedDid you know there are now over 200 electric vehicle (EV) charge points in Milton Keynes, with over 50 of these being rapid chargers?

The Milton Keynes Council electric vehicle charge point webpage has recently been updated with new tariff information so make sure your staff with electric vehicles are aware of the new tariff charges (in place since August 2015).

There are a number of benefits associated with travelling by EVs. For example, by using a rapid charge point you can charge your car in just 20 minutes (the maximum park time in rapid charger bays is 30 minutes). You can use these rapid chargers under the new tariff for £2.50 or less, which will give a full charge of many electric cars. The cost of filling a similar sized car with petrol or diesel, to travel an equivalent distance, is over £15.
