Low Carbon Sustainable Business Conference – 03 November 2015

Businesses with an interested in Low Carbon are invited to the 2015 Low Carbon Sustainable Business Conference on Tuesday 3 November at Stylish 15 Hatfields, a leading sustainable conference centre in central London, where they can learn about eco innovation, energy efficiency and business travel and meet experts from across the sustainable business sector.

Attendees will hear from a range of high profile and influential speakers who are leading from the frontline of the sustainable business sector. The conference will also feature workshops highlighting emerging sustainability themes including the challenges and opportunities that businesses face and the role of government policy in supporting the low carbon economy.

The free event, which is organised by Ngage Solutions, will also offer attendees the opportunity to find out more about the measurable impact on carbon savings, which have been achieved in the South East of England through the projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund, and to hear from the businesses that have benefited from these projects.

On 8th October 2015 Go Travel Solutions hosted an East Midlands Regional meeting of Act Travelwise, the UK’s association for sustainable travel and behavioural change professionals. The meeting included a showcase on Smartgo – with presentations from Go Travel Solutions (the co-ordinators of Smartgo) and Smartgo Leicester employer members De Montfort University, Leicester College and Pick Everard. The presentations reflected the successes and barriers experienced by them as employers in developing sustainable travel and their view on how Smartgo had assisted them as employers and their staff.

Slides from De Montfort University, Go Travel Solutions and Pick Everard are available for download.
